Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) – The rules for Cambridge International AS Qualifications are different to UK A Levels. Making sure you read up and see how the rules are different will help you in the long run. The rules are around AS Levels being used towards A-Levels, and resits having a “shelf life”. AS as a Standalone Qualification

You should now be aware that UK AS Qualifications are “Standalone” and do not contribute towards the A Level grade.
