All tutors at Quality Teach are qualified, DBS checked teachers and all tutors are professionally trained in Microsoft Teams and all applications related.
The centre already supported more than 130 students at both primary and secondary school ages with everything from 11+ preparation right through to A-Level. Quality Teach now offers many types of tuition and teaching; 1-2-1, small groups of 4 and groups of 6 from the same school from just £12.50 an hour.
For the home educated students Quality Teach runs complete one year GCSE courses, all taught online.
Quality Teach offers Summer courses, 11+ courses and courses during the Easter holidays in preparation for the exams.
Mrs Gonneke Hazell, a former Biology expert teacher, decided to launch her own personal tutoring service after taking inspiration from her time as a successful teacher at Ashbourne College; an independent sixth form college in London.
With over 50% of students achieving A/A* for their A-levels, she saw how the personal approach focused on the one student made a remarkable difference.
Gonneke, who moved to the UK from the Netherlands in 2012, originally began with a home tutoring service in the Stratford area but the demand was such that she explored the idea of creating a private tuition centre.
It led to the launch of Quality Teach – a tuition centre in the Timothy’s Bridge Road in Stratford – in 2018 and the company is going from strength to strength. Most of the tuition at Quality Teach takes place in the centre, but since COVID-19 the tutors are now also working online!
