Hi, I’m Rachel and I am highly experienced in working with children and adults that require help with English, whether it’s spelling, punctuation, grammar, pronunciation, essay skills, preparing for exams, or analysing texts. Equipped with extensive knowledge, I can effectively address various learning difficulties and provide the best guidance and resources to overcome their learning obstacles.
I customise the learning process for each child to ensure they receive the most effective and efficient support to reach their full potential. Every child possesses their own distinct strengths, weaknesses, learning styles, and pace, so it only makes sense for me to tailor my teaching approach to meet the specific needs of each student. I also work with individuals who have a wide range of learning challenges and special educational needs (SEN), for example (but not limited to), Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Asperger’s Syndrome.
I am a highly empathetic and patient tutor. Learning can be a journey filled with ups and downs, and I know how essential a nurturing and supportive environment is. For that reason, every single tutoring session is filled to the brim with empathy, patience, and encouragement. By building that positive rapport with my student, I create a safe space where they feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves.
Regular Progress Monitoring: I value transparency and understand the importance of keeping parents informed about their child’s progress. Through regular feedback and progress reports, you can stay up to date on your/ your child’s achievements and areas that may need further attention.
My commitment to your child’s growth goes beyond academics. I believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals. Alongside academic progress, I focus on developing essential life skills (such as communication), boosting self-esteem, and promoting independence.
