The English Expert Professional Tuition Services is led by John , an experienced and qualified professional teacher based in Nottingham. John has been an English teacher for over twenty years, so has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with students.
He is an AQA Examiner which means he can give his students better insights into what examiners are looking for, how to address assessment objectives and how to maximise your exam marks. He is also a published poet and musician, who has given many poetry performances at literary festivals and spoken word events.
He taught on the AQA A Level in Creative Writing and has run and organised Creative Writing Workshops for aspiring authors. He has recently been a judge on a county- wide Young Writers Competition and regularly mentors young writers to help them to develop their writing skills.
He teaches GCSE and A Level English courses to students needing to boost their grades, their confidence, and their appreciation of the magnificence of literature. John has also taught many pupils who are home schooled, and have SEND issues, to help prepare them for their examinations.
