We have had a very positive experience with Tutors and Exams Birmingham where my son sat exams in each of the past three years. Prompt e-mail replies from the centre staff and efficient organisation on exam days have made the process of booking and sitting exams very straightforward. Also, the location of the centre is ideal: just a short walk from the city centre and from public transport routes. The centre runs open days outside of exam periods and visiting in advance helped to reduce pre-exam nerves, for both my son and for me! This summer, arriving for his third paper of the term, my son was recognised and greeted by name at the door – a small example of how T&E Birmingham does all it can to welcome candidates and to make exam days as stress-free as possible.

We use Tutors and Exams every month for our training sessions, and they've always been incredibly helpful. Adam, in particular, is fantastic—friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly. The rooms are well suited to all our training needs, making the whole experience easy and stress-free. Highly recommend their services!

Very very positive in-person experience, lovely friendly staff
HOWEVER I did recieve an email saying my NEA wasn't submitted and wouldn't be marked (even though it was submitted a month beforehand), which was so so stressfull. It turned out to be someone's error but the woman on the phone refused to apologise or accept that there was a huge mistake on T&E's part. This was resolved, but not a good experience that.

We are using Tutors and Exams Birmingham to get autistic daughter who has anxiety through her A Level as her online provider let us down. I'm going to echo what a lot of people have said. Tutors and Exams have been fantastic to deal with from the start. They guided us through applying for the exam. We went to an open day where we were shown all the facilities and they talked in detail with my daughter to ease her anxiety. All her access arrangements have been done via the access arrangements team and everyone has been super professional and helpful. If you are looking to book exams outside of the usual route Tutors and Exams Birmingham is an excellent choice. There is limited street parking for two hours if you need to drop off, wardens do patrol so make sure you pay by the app or at machine. There are shops locally and cafes around the area.

I would highly recommend the Birmingham exam centre for the location and service. We are retuning customers, my 14 year old having sat exams in May/June 2025 and now sitting some more this October/November 2025. I can trust them and feel at ease knowing they take care in providing all they need to. We are kept informed with emails they send and they are always at hand if I have any questions. I have recently booked more exams and hope to stick to this exam centre for the rest of my daughter’s exams. Thank you.

Very positive experience.
Had home invigilation the invigilators are professional and helpful . Explaining what was needed and answered any questions as it was our 1st time .
Emails are answered quickly and information sought was always answered.
Would definitely use again .

A great team to work for where everyone is friendly and supportive of each other. All are focused on providing a safe and calm environment for the students in what can be an anxious time for them. Kelly, the Centre Manager, is fantastic - organised, efficient and professional. Her communication is excellent and she is very proactive in dealing with potential issues. She is also extremely personable with staff, students and parents alike, as is Rhys, the Exams Officer. It is a pleasure working there.

The staff at Tutors & Exams Birmingham are fantastic. The telephone lines can sometimes be busy but if I leave a message or emaiI I always get a quick response if I have any queries. They act professionally and show that they care about the candidates. I can thoroughly recommend them.

Our experience with Tutors & Exams Birmingham has been beyond excellent. Especially Kelly, from my initial contact Kelly has ensured to maintain contact with me, she’s gone above and beyond to help me after a poor service provided by Oxbridge online learning. The communication and support wasn’t expected however has eased a challenging time and Kelly has made things seamless for me. I couldn’t have asked or hoped for more. The team at T&E Birmingham are always helpful and helped me during exam season which are an extremely stressful time. I am sitting with them again and their continued support through difficult challenges is greatly appreciated. I would recommend anyone to use their services. We used the centre for a mock exam. Communication from the staff was outstanding as was the location and parking. My son who suffers from anxiety came out from the mock exam feeling more informed, at ease and happy with the whole experience. This was due to the care shown by the staff as well as their professionalism and understanding of the exam system.
We received a copy of the mock on the same day as well as the mark scheme - we used the unmarked service. This was greatly appreciated as it saved time searching for the mark scheme on the Internet.
I cannot rate Tutors and Exams highly enough and will be using the centre again in the near future.

Everything went brilliantly for my daughter at this exam centre. She is home schooled due to anxiety and we worried so much about where she would sit her exams. But we needn't have worried - everything went smoothly and my daughter had a very positive experience. Communication was excellent from start to finish and she had the accessibility arrangements she needed sorted out easily. The centre is quiet and calm, with different rooms to accommodate different needs. I managed to park very close by, and found lovely cafes to sit and wait in, and a lovely free art gallery to wander around. Definitely recommend.

The team are very professional, friendly and approachable. They were prompt in responding to any queries I had. My son did his first GCSEs here in May (he is home educated and age 14). He said he actually enjoyed the experience as the team put him at ease and were friendly and supportive. I would highly recommend! The exam centre itself is easy to get to and modern and well equipped. Tutors & Exams have been a very good company to deal with!

T&E really do understand the needs of home ed candidates, including those who may require access arrangements for exams. We started off using their Coventry centre with my eldest son, but have now switched to the new Birmingham centre as it is so much easier to get to on public transport (tram stop 2 minutes away, train station a 10 minute walk). Kelly and her team are warm, friendly and supportive - highly recommended.

Amazing centre. The staff were so hospitable and helpful to me as an under 16 candidate. Their aid and support translated into formidable comfort in my exams- to which I am eternally thankful for. The very centre is a very clean, coordinated and organised; in which I sat one of my most important of exams.

In the lead up to the exams, the staff were supportive, informative and very accommodating. The process was easy. The exam centre was at an accessible location with parking around. The exams were conducted efficiently. Very impressed.
