Was invited to view the exam centre to try and help our autistic daughter feel more comfortable for her forthcoming GCSE exams. Great communication from Louise to set up the visit and big thanks to Jude who was fantastic showing us around the place and answering all our questions. They are obviously very busy but we were so grateful they could spare us the time and help with access arrangements for our daughter. No hesitation in recommending.

My son took 8 GCSEs (16 exams in total) with this centre, and we had such a positive experience.

Booking privately can be really overwhelming when you’ve never done it before, but everyone was so helpful. Jude dealt with a lot of my queries and was always friendly and so helpful.

I especially want to mention Sarah Smith from the Access Arrangements team, who was amazing. I had a lot of contact with Sarah, and she honestly became my go to person! She kept me calm, explained everything I needed to know, and was always so friendly, patient and helpful. She made a more difficult part of the process far easier than I anticipated. I have since booked more exams for my son and I had to get back in contact with Sarah. She replied instantly and was as lovely and as helpful as she was previously.

We also have nothing but positive things to say about the centre when sitting his exams. The staff were welcoming and we experienced no problems.

I would recommend this centre.

We have used this exam centre for 2 years and my son has achieved 5 GCSEs during this time. My son is autistic and has needed additional support and the team at Bolton Tutors & Exams have gone above and beyond to ensure that he has felt welcomed, safe and supported. If you are home educating a child and looking for an exam centre that understands your needs I absolutely 100% recommend this venue.

Had a really positive experience with my son taking GCSE maths this year. I do find it hard to find some bits of info at times on the website but always find if you complete a ‘contact us’ form the staff respond very quickly. I had an experience on results morning of struggling to get on the portal for his grade at first, but expect this with everyone trying to do the same all at once so just needed a little patience. Staff are super helpful and reassuring and my son was made to feel really comfortable at the exam centre. Thank you

We cannot recommend Tutors & Exams Bolton highly enough.

As a home-educating family, we travel a considerable distance to Bolton so that my son can sit his GCSEs and now his A-levels, and every journey has been worthwhile. The venue is well organised, professional, and provides a calm environment for students sitting important exams.

What has impressed us most is the staff. They have always been welcoming, friendly, and supportive, making my son feel comfortable and valued from the moment he arrives. Their warmth and professionalism help take some of the stress out of what can be a very daunting experience.

For families of home-educated students or private candidates looking for an exam centre, we would thoroughly recommend Tutors & Exams Bolton. Thank you to the whole team for making every exam session such a positive experience.
