Whiteboards and Wonders is an online science tuition service operating via zoom where students join on their terms! We believe that every child has the potential to achieve academic success, and our GCSE and iGCSE courses are designed to help them realise that potential.
Jessica offers remote learning, webinars, small groups and 121 tutoring in biology, chemistry, physics, and human biology. To support their progress, students benefit from access to resource bundles, marking and feedback and exploring science work packs. All parents benefit from access to our live learning trackers to stay up to date with their child’s learning and evidence home learning with local authorities where required. To help keep home education accessible and affordable, Whiteboards and Wonders offers sibling discounts, referral rewards and payment plans.
Jessica has a degree in biology, a PGCE in Secondary Science, an enhanced DBS and 5 years of experience teaching and tutoring sciences.
Whilst encouraged, there is no pressure for cameras being turned on or microphones being used as the chat function is enough to bring us all together to form a friendly and supportive group. Students are directed towards independent learning tasks which are used as guidance, not instruction. Students are welcome to complete as many extracurricular tasks as needed to support each individuals learning journey as agreed with parents.
