My dyslexic home-educated son took his first iGCSE here in the summer and I was more than happy to use them again in Autumn and the following summer. T&E has been trustworthy, efficient and very easy to deal with. Most importantly, they have taken care of all the access arrangements my son needed, without which he wouldn't have been able to pass his exams. We now have his iGCSE certificate and I/we couldn't be happier.
Fantastic experience with the examiners by at the ready if your in need of assistance or need the bathroom. People there looked less stressed when walking out as did I. I was nervous at first but found out that everything is alright when your getting into the grove of you paper. Definitely worth sitting your exams here. Coming back on the 7th and 10th for 2 more papers 📃 👋😄

I have been helping at this centre now for a while and even though in exam season its very stressful and busy I love the atmosphere. Danielle and Catherine and brilliant in the office and know exactly what they are doing. All the other invigilators are kind and are always willing to help.
Really nice and easy process for exam application. The exams were fantastic, no stress. Very happy with the service as well. If we need help we can call a real person and not an AI assistant. This is very nice these days.
My son sat an A level with Tutors & Exams Doncaster this year, and although I was initially apprehensive, as we had always gone through school or college before, I was pleasantly surprised. My son wanted to take an A level subject that wasn't mainstream, and so wasn't offered at most places, including his own college, so we decided to go through this provider.
I have to say, the whole process was very well organised. We received regular email notifications whenever there was a new communication on the portal, and the instructions were always clear and easy to follow. There were also several opportunities to attend an open day, which allowed us to visit and see everything in person beforehand.
The only real downside was trying to get through to them by phone. In the run-up to my son’s exams, I had a query and spent almost an hour on hold several times before the line cut off. When I eventually did get through, my question was answered helpfully, but this is definitely one area that could be improved. I understand that exam season is an exceptionally busy time, but it might be worth increasing staff temporarily to handle the higher volume of calls.
Aside from that, everything on the exam day itself ran smoothly and efficiently. Results were released promptly at 8 a.m. on results day, and my son achieved what he needed to secure a place at one of the top universities in the country, his first choice. We are now just waiting for the certificates to arrive, but so far everything has gone exactly as expected.
Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I would happily recommend them or use their services again if needed.

Tutors and Exams, Doncaster centre have been absolutely amazing at sorting out the Access Arrangements for my youngest daughter's upcoming exam. I cannot thank them enough for their efficiency, regular communication with me and kindness! I am looking forwards to my daughter taking more of her exams at this centre in the future. I have been associated with Doncaster Tutors & Exams as a parent since they opened in 2020. My son was registered with them for GCSE, AS and A level exams from 2020 – 2024 as a home educated student. He sat 5 GCSE level subjects, 2 AS subjects and 3 A level subjects – a total of 19 individual exams. The cost of the exams reflected the competent, skilful administration and excellent teams associated with all of the exam process.
All staff encountered and with which we had communication, were always professional, friendly and efficient in their contact and manner. The two managers of the service we encountered were enthusiastic about making the service and the team as helpful and efficient as possible, whilst remaining approachable. This reflected in all their staff being the same. I emailed frequently over the four years with every possible exam-related query and all replies arrived promptly with great understanding and compassion.
Two of the nineteen exams were sat remotely during the exam covid period - the administration of this was efficient and within the stipulated rules - and demonstrated the resilience and adaptability of the Doncaster team to manage this.
My son required access arrangements in all his exams and the AA team (not based in Doncaster), were equally helpful, professional and efficient. They worked hard to ensure we understood the AA process and timeline, and the evidence required, going the extra mile with specific help.
We visited the Doncaster centre several times before my son started his exams and this helped with familiarisation. The centre is based in a commercial estate and has expanded to two buildings since our first visit 2020. The location is ideal with lots of parking nearby at the Lakeside shopping centre with cafes and shops and a hotel only minutes away. The staff accommodated our visits with ease and were always welcoming.
During his exams, my son experienced excellently trained invigilators who understood his needs and he felt safe and knowledgeable about what he needed to do in each exam. Any queries were quickly dealt with. The exam room itself was clean, comfortable and professionally set up – a toilet was available for use as necessary. General letters, information and results were accessed through the T&E portal which was easy and effective to use.
Despite being one of many students and parents being helped to sit exams at D&E Doncaster over the 4 years, both my son and I never felt like numbers – nothing was ever too much trouble. My son reached his personal goals by being able to take national exams with T&E Doncaster, and is now on the next step of his journey, about to start university. We will always be thankful for all their endeavours to help make this happen.

My older son took his GCSEs here in 2024, and passed them all very well. The Doncaster team are really friendly and helpful and on results day they responded to my queries very quickly - within minutes. Very professional team and location is good too, easy to find. Alternative location used for days when lots of candidates were sitting exams with a little bit further but again easy to find and no problem at all. 5 stars to the Tutors & Exams team :)

The staff at the Doncaster centre are extremely professional and sensitive to the needs of the students. In a potentially stressful environment where many students are travelling significant distances to an exam location, the staff are calm, fair, approachable and human. As a parent I was concerned and I know my daughter was dreading attending the centre as it was a new unknown place, in a different city at a very stressful time but on arrival it was clear that this was a well run centre with great staff. I can't thank Hannah and her team enough and would definitely recommend this Tutors & Exams centre in Doncaster. A
I took my exams at the alternative centre as the main one was full. The first day was a little disorganised with everyone standing around waiting to go into the hall - fortunately, we all got in on time. The latter days went smooth and the process as a whole was simple. Thanks
Hi. I was a candidate at this exam centre. The service was amazing with the staff always being friendly and the facilities being top notch. They are open to all types of candidates and they catered to my Aspergers, even allowing me to keep the same seat for all my exams. All in all, I would recommend this exam centre to everyone.
I'm a mature student. I took physics, math and biology at A-level this year. When most places where already had fully booked labs, miraculously they (Tutors and Exams ) managed to squeeze me in after contacting me, that there was a cancellation. This way I didn't have to travel out from London to Birmingham, and I've done everything here, locally.
Whenever I had a question regarding anything, they were quick and helpful with their responses. Let me mention, one reply was written at 5am, which just shows the hard work they provided for us.

I cannot fault Tutors and Exams. We were so confused and stressed about exams during the Covid situation and were so unsure of what to do. T&E answered every single question I had (there were sooooo many questions) and always took the time to explain everything. The exams were a little more expensive than we're used to paying but it was worth every penny for the amount of help that they gave us.
The whole TAG process this year was clear cut and organised perfectly and ran smoothly for myself and for other parents in the home ed community.

I sat exams for an AQA GCSE qualification here after studying privately. It's a very professional setup. There's an online portal where they upload all documents and notices relating to your exams. They have a big exam hall and there was an independent invigilator there to ensure proper running of the exams on the day. The location is great being just a few minutes drive away from M18-J3 and the Lakeside Village shopping centre in case you need food or drink. The staff are great at making you feel relaxed and at home. Good luck to all those taking exams!
