Newcastle High School Science Lab

Laboratory Information:

• The laboratory is located at Newcastle High School for Girls, within the dedicated science block.
• The school is located in Jesmond, with good public transport links and convenient access.
• Free parking is available on site. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Meeting point: Main Entrance (please refer to the site map provided prior to your assessment).
• There are no catering facilities on site. Candidates must bring a packed lunch and refreshments.
• A recreational room will be available for use during breaks and lunchtime.
• Overnight accommodation is available nearby for candidates travelling longer distances.
• The venue offers modern, professional facilities in a quiet school environment suitable for examination and assessment delivery.

We Host:

A Level Science Practicals (CPAC – Common Practical Assessment Criteria). 12 practical’s normally conducted over 4 consecutive days.

Please note: All 4 CPAC days need to be completed to potentially achieve a pass endorsement.
