We chose Tutors & Exams High Wycombe for my son and daughter to take their GCSEs in 2025 and 2026. Both of our children have been homeschooled and have had school trauma so finding an exam centre for them to happily and comfortably sit their GCSEs was a serious decision for us. The High Wycombe centre is airy, clean and welcoming, if the weather is hot there is air conditioning, if the weather is cold there is heating. The children attend in comfy clothes, not school uniforms. We travel over an hour to come specifically to this centre.
Great services, and very helpful throughout the enrolment, to the exams, and beyond.
I thought about dropping a star as I found the application difficult without their help, however the Wycombe team were excellent over the phone and sorted my issues. Last minute exam bookings are expensive mind, but I cannot fault the service. Thank you Emma and team at High Wycombe.

We had a fantastic experience at the Tutors and Exams High Wycombe centre where my daughter sat her GCSEs. It was our first time at the centre, and our daughter's first time sitting exams with access arrangements, so she was feeling apprehensive. However, the staff were incredibly friendly, supportive, and well-organised, which made the whole process stress-free and reassuring. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all our questions with patience, and made sure our daughter felt comfortable and confident throughout. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and the environment was calm and professional. I highly recommend this exam centre - especially to anyone navigating access arrangements for the first time.
Tutors & Exams High Wycombe have been super easy and supportive to deal with. We've just sat our first lot of exams with them and everything went really smoothly and both my daughter and I felt very well supported - thank you!
I have nothing but positive things to say about the High Wycombe centre. As an invigilator for the centre I’ve always found the exam staff to be extremely helpful and friendly to the other staff and particularly the students. They do everything they can to make the exams as relaxed and as stress free an experience as possible for everybody involved. They take great care to ensure all individual needs are catered for and I’ve always seen them try really hard to make sure the exams go as smoothly as possible for the students.
My son sat his Geography iGCSE at Tutors and Exams. The whole process from registering to sitting the exam was simple and easy. All the staff were lovely and made him feel very at ease. I would highly recommend them as an exam centre.
We had a really good experience with tutors and exams. It was our first time doing exams outside of school and we’re new to home education too so we had loads of questions but they took time to explain everything and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The staff were friendly and patient the whole way through. My daughter gets quite anxious in new situations but everyone was really welcoming and helped her feel more at ease. We had a small issue early on but the manager sorted it quickly. There was also one member of staff who always greeted us with a smile and was really warm and helpful. The staff knew my daughter was anxious and always took time to check in on her and make sure she was ok, which we really appreciated. We’re happy with how it all went and my daughter is so pleased with her results. We will definitely be back for A levels.
I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at Tutors and Exams High Wycombe for the fantastic support they have shown me and my son. Any questions have been answered and the staff have all been friendly. Everything has been straight forward from start to finish.

Really friendly staff who were incredibly welcoming and helpful when asking questions. The facilities were equally amazing, with the rooms being small and very comfortable. Brilliant place, I highly recommend!
No problem at all taking my GCSE last summer. On the day the waiting room was overfull so a number of students had to sit on the stairs. However the conduct if the exam was really efficient and the invigilators were friendly and helpful. Would recommend
Our child sat GCSE mocks and exams at the High Wycombe centre in 2023 - their first exams in two years. The staff were incredibly helpful and patient. We will be back again this year for A-Level exams.
We've used T&E High Wycombe 3 years running and have been very happy with the service they provide. We have found the staff to be extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Both our children have had good experiences at the exam centre & both have needed various access arrangements. As home educators, the exam process can be quite daunting and stressful but T&E High Wycombe have made it very doable.
Our child sat 5 exams with T&E High Wycombe in June 2024. From the first phone call I made with an initial enquiry to receiving final results, all staff have been so knowledgeable and helpful. Access Arrangements were required, and this was handled swiftly, with clear instructions given so that I could collate the right evidence. Queries via phone or email were answered quickly, and all staff we have had contact with have been kind and supportive. Thank you so much!
Why is this company allowed to be a venue for sitting exams. On the 16 May 2024 my son plus many many others arrived to sit their GCSE maths exam. To which they were told that it was not this venue but somewhere else. They said an email was sent out stating this but that was incorrect. An absolute disaster from the start. A helpful lady called Gemma helped by arranging a taxi to take him and his friends to the other location. They were, along with many others, late to the exam which meant they trickled in whilst others were doing their exam.
Avoid. If you sit your exam and need results quickly don't even think about this place. 10 weeks waiting for my results. After numerous attempts of contacting them, by phone or emails, there is nobody to answer, if you are lucky and someone will answer, you won't get information needed. Management ignoring clients. Ridiculous. I do not recommend it!!!
Chaos, no resolution to complaint so can't go back. Avoid if you need access arrangements.
Just like to say a massive thank you to the 2 people that work at the centre here in high wycombe, my son was home schooling and found it really hard to come in and do his exams, the people here were so kind to him and helped him so much to sit the exams with their kind words and support. I'm really grateful for them 🙏 they've given my son a chance now to get on with his life by being able to come away with some GCSE'S.
