I recently did an online GCSE and sat the exams at 'Tutors & Exams Taunton' in May/June 2024. I hadn't done any exams for a number of years and was very nervous. The centre was very helpful prior to the exams, answering questions about parking and timings. On arrival, the staff were welcoming and immediately put me at ease. Being a small venue, it was far less intimidating than the huge exam halls I had previously experienced. Every step was explained clearly, professionally and without any stress.My only advice to future candidates would be to plan your arrival and parking well, and arrive early.Thank you so much to all the staff for their help, plus I came away with a grade 8, so I'm very happy!
We've been through a few exams seasons with T&E. The actual exam days are well handled by pleasant staff which is great for anxious kids but we have repeatedly experienced issues with communication. It's almost impossible to get hold of the centres in an emergency on exam days due to there being a call system that cuts out quite quickly if no one answers. It's less than ideal in a true emergency and an answer phone would be such a simple solution to this rather than having to call over and over again over hours before getting though. We've also often felt confused with communication and lack of confirmation of changes. T&E are generally a good option for exams but a few tweaks would make it an easier service to use.

Tutors & Exams Taunton were a very professional company to deal with. My daughter sat all her GCSEs with them and I found they were well organised, friendly and helpful when I had enquiries and ran the exams really well. My daughter was very comfortable in the exam rooms and had no problems with mixed-up exam papers or noisy invigilators which I had heard about at other exam centres. I would happily recommend them.

My daughter sat 3 GCSE’s at Taunton Tutors and Exams this summer. It was a great experience from start to finish - great communication from the team right from enquiry and through the exam period. They made the process as easy and calm as possible and my daughter said the invigilators were lovely too which put her at ease. We’ll definitely be back doing some more there next year!
Very friendly and professional team. A great experience, can't fault it in any way. My son sat his first GCSE there as he was being homeschooled.
The staff at Taunton are brilliant. Everything went so smoothly and so organised. Access arrangements health with efficiently . Never too busy to answer questions. Sadly we have finished our home ed hour so won't be using them again . But I can't thanks everyone enough for all they do.
