Be a Scientist for the Day/Mucky Madness
Tutors & Exams are delighted to announce the launch of our new sessions in our Birmingham labs from February 2023, Be a Scientist for the Day. We want to enable home-educated students an opportunity to get hands on lab experience with the scientific method of ‘finding out about the world’. This allows students to explore Biology Science and the world around them. These fun and exciting sessions will enable home-educated students to come out of their comfort zones dive in, within a safe and supportive environment.
Also, we are delighted to announce the launch of our new sessions in our Birmingham labs, Mucky Madness from March 2023. These sessions are tailored to SEN students, to allow equal opportunity to explore our world. The objective of this course is to expose students to the wonders of our world that they might not easily experience without access to a science lab, while keeping everyone involved safe. For this we will be accommodating students of a variety of ages and needs, with a focus on sensory experiences. For that reason a Montessori approach, with various ‘stations’ and options the student can choose from should be used where possible.
