Information about Coronavirus and Exam Canellations in the UK

Gavin Williamson MP, Secretary of State for Education, announced on the 18th March 2020 that whilst exam paper sittings will not take place this summer, the DfE are ensuring that all candidates will receive a grade this August. This affects all candidates during this coronavirus outbreak, cancelling exams in the UK.

We are working around the clock to work out the situation which is changing by the day.

Update from Department for Education on grading Exams for Private & Home Educated Candidates:

The DfE have realeased the following statement – What about private candidates or home educated students?
We will work closely with the independent regulator of qualifications, Ofqual, to explore options for awarding grades to private candidates, including home educated students.

We have a conference call, with Pearson Edexcel shortly, to offer our suggested processes, advice and support.
