Coronavirus – Face Coverings in Exams Guidance

Coronavirus – Face Coverings in Exams Guidance

It’s no secret that the Coronavirus pandemic came with hardship and a whole new way of living that we had to adapt to quickly. As always, we want to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our candidates, their families and our team so in line with the ever-changing guidance, take a look at our safety protocol and guidance below…

On the 8th August 2020, the wearing of face masks in public buildings became compulsory. This means that candidates coming to sit at one of our exam centres must ensure they attend with their own face coverings.

You are required to wear face coverings in the public areas of our buildings whilst also maintaining social distancing. This information has been updated into your portal so don’t forget to take a look! Face coverings can be removed whilst sitting your exams. Take special care when coughing or sneezing and bring with you tissues that can be disposed of.

This is our current advice for exam candidates. However, if there are further Government guidelines or legislation, this information will be updated and we will keep you informed!

We do understand that there are exemptions for people with medical conditions. If this affects you, please can we ask that you get in touch to discuss your requirements further. Please contact your chosen centre direct.

We are also able to supply disposable face coverings at our centre on the day or in advance for £2.50 each. Please send us an email if you require a covering or have payment ready on the day.

You will be refused entry to the exam room if you refuse to follow the health rules that we have in place.

Thank you as ever for your continued understanding during these unprecedented times. It’s strange but we’re in it together!
