Empowering Artists at Art in the Park
We’re thrilled to announce that our Learning Partner, Laura Powell, founder of The Art and Design Room, will be a featured exhibitor at the Art in the Park Festival in Leamington Spa on 1st & 2nd August!
What is the Art and Design Room?
Laura provides a creative sanctuary for private candidates, including home-educated candidates and adult learners, wishing to pursue formal qualifications outside of a traditional school setting.
Through small, supportive group sessions, candidates can work towards GCSEs in Art & Design, Fine Art, Photography, and Textiles. This isn’t just about gaining a qualification; it’s about nurturing individual expression, allowing creativity to truly flourish.

During the festival, Laura will be showcasing a curated selection of incredible work produced by both past and present candidates. This is a fantastic opportunity to see first-hand the high standard of work achieved through her programs and to witness the diverse journeys her candidates have taken.
