Tutors & Exams now approved for Oxford Admissions Tests

Many of the courses at The University of Oxford require applicants to take an admissions test. The University use these tests to help them choose between all the excellent candidates who apply to study there. To make your application as competitive as possible, it’s important that you register for and take any admissions tests that are required for your course.

In 2023 you can be registered for your test anytime between 1 and 29 September (except for the LNAT) before the UCAS deadline of 16 October.

Registration isn’t automatic and just completing your UCAS application won’t register you for the test, so please make sure you follow the process carefully. We strongly recommend that you are registered as soon as possible after 1 September, even if you have not yet submitted your UCAS form.

Make sure you get your test candidate entry number from your local exam centre as proof of entry by 29 September.

Start by using the dropdown menu on the following link to check whether your course requires you to take a test or tests and then follow the link to the relevant test/s webpage: www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/applying-to-oxford/guide/admissions-tests
