If you’re studying A Level Biology, Chemistry or Physics as a private candidate, you might assume you have to take your practicals and written exams at the same location.
At Tutors & Exams, you don’t need to disrupt your current plans! You can complete your JCQ A Level Science Practical Endorsement (CPAC) at one of our dedicated lab facilities, while sitting your written exam papers at an alternative venue.
How It Works
The Practical Endorsement (CPAC) is a standalone element of the JCQ A Level Science qualifications. It assesses your practical skills across a set number of required core experiments, resulting in either a Pass or Not Classified (NC) outcome, which is reported alongside your A Level grade.
Because the Practical Endorsement is assessed separately from your written exam papers, your written exams must be taken at an alternative exam venue to the one where you complete your CPAC practicals.
