How to Prepare for Results Day

The countdown is officially on! With (i)GCSE and GCSE Results Day next week, we want to make sure you are fully prepared and know exactly where to find your results when they are released.

Everything you need will be available through your Tutors & Exams ProPortal account, so please don’t wait until Results Day to check that you’re ready.

STEP 1 – Check you can log in NOW

Please log in to your ProPortal account before Results Day and make sure you can access it successfully.

Remember, this is your personal account and contains confidential information. Multiple incorrect login attempts may temporarily lock your account to protect your information.

If you cannot remember your login details or are having difficulty accessing your account, please contact us before Results Day so our team can assist you.

STEP 2 – Know where to find your results

Take a few minutes now to familiarise yourself with ProPortal so you know exactly where to go on the day.

Once logged in, navigate to: Information → Exams

Select the Information drop-down menu and then select Exams.

You will see a table containing all of your examination entries, broken down by individual papers/components.

Your overall qualification grade will be displayed against the main qualification/subject entry once your result has been released.

STEP 3 – Understand what you’re seeing

Don’t worry if you see several entries for the same subject. Many qualifications consist of multiple examination papers or components, and these may each appear separately within your examination record.

The key information to look for is your overall qualification result, where your final grade for the subject will be displayed.

Please remember – Results Day is extremely busy. Our centres and support teams will be working extremely hard throughout Results Day to support candidates across the country.

As you can imagine, call and enquiry volumes are significantly higher than usual, particularly immediately after results are released. This may mean that it takes us a little longer than normal to answer your call or respond to your enquiry.

We kindly ask that you remain patient and respectful towards our staff and allow them the opportunity to support all candidates fairly. Our teams understand how important Results Day is and will be doing everything they can to help everyone as quickly as possible.

The best thing you can do now is prepare:

✓ Check your ProPortal login works.

✓ Familiarise yourself with Information → Exams.

✓ Make sure you know where your overall grade will appear.

✓ Contact us before Results Day if you have an access issue.

Don’t leave it until Results Day – log in today and make sure you’re ready.
