GCSE and A Level Results & Resits
When will I get my GCSE/A Level Results?
Summer exam results are issued in August. Here are the dates to mark on your calendar:
- Cambridge International AS & A Level Results: Tuesday 13th August 2024
- Cambridge International GCSE Results: Tuesday 13th August 2024
- JCQ Awarding Bodies (AQA, Edexcel Pearson, Eduqas WJEC, OCR) AS & A Level Results: Thursday 15th August 2024
- JCQ Awarding Bodies (AQA, Edexcel Pearson, Eduqas WJEC, OCR) GCSE & International GCSE Results: Thursday 22nd August 2024
Your results will be released via the Tutors & Exams Candidate Hub (TECH). This is the same place that you received your timetables and joining instructions. If you’ve not received results before with us, the image below will appear when you login to your TECH from 8am and by clicking on it, will take you to your results:
If you have any issues with accessing TECH, please contact your registered exam centre directly via email: https://www.tutorsandexams.uk/contact-us/
Certificates are issued around 15 weeks after results are released. They will be posted to the address you registered with us via 2nd Class Signed for post, therefore please ensure that your address is up to date. If you would like International Delivery, additional fees may apply.
All GCSE and A Level Results are issued following an embargo which is part of the Awarding Bodies regulations. The embargo is lifted at 8am on GCSE and A Level Results Days.
What if I’m unhappy with my results?
If you’re unhappy with your results, there are a couple of options available to you. Firstly, when we issue results via the TECH Portal, you will also receive details of how you can apply for an Enquiry About Results (EARs). This will give you deadlines and fees for a number of services from a Clerical Recheck, to Review of Marking and more. You can also visit our EARs webpage here: https://www.tutorsandexams.uk/enquiries-about-results/
It’s important to note that there is no such service as “Remarking”. The Awarding Bodies carry out a Review of Marking.
If you feel that you didn’t perform to your best, and can improve the grade that you achieved, then a resit is probably the best route for you.
Don’t forget the deadlines that Tutors & Exams have are earlier than the Awarding Bodies deadlines! Our Fees List has all the deadlines for applications: https://www.tutorsandexams.uk/fees-and-awarding-body/#fees-information
How do I know what is available in which season/series to resit?
GCSE and A Level Resits can be looked up via the Awarding Body exam timetables. These will tell you exactly what is available and at what time. Once you have made entries with Tutors & Exams, you will receive a personal timetable via your Tutors & Exams Candidate Hub (TECH) Portal.
Some of the exam timetables from the Awarding Bodies have been included as links above. However, all of the links to Timetables can be found here:
- AQA General Qualification Timetables
- Cambridge International Education (CIE) International Qualifications
- Edexcel Pearson UK General Qualifications
