We’re proud to partner with GroundMark Learning to offer two valuable qualifications designed for home learners: the Level 2 Higher Project Qualification (HPQ) and the Level 3 Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

Both of these flexible, online courses are a fantastic way for candidates to explore a topic they’re passionate about while developing essential academic skills.

What are the HPQ and EPQ?

• HPQ (Level 2): Equivalent to half a GCSE, the HPQ is an excellent way to prepare for sixth-form or college applications. It shows admissions tutors you have a keen interest in a specific area of study and can work independently. It fits perfectly alongside a candidate’s existing GCSE curriculum.
• EPQ (Level 3): Equivalent to half an A Level, the EPQ is widely recognised by universities. A strong EPQ can even lead to reduced entry requirements for many university courses. It’s a great opportunity to deepen your knowledge in a subject you love while developing the research and critical thinking skills needed for higher education. The EPQ can be completed alongside A Levels or other qualifications.

Both courses allow candidates to dive into an area of personal interest, helping them to stand out on applications and build confidence in their academic abilities.
